Psychology Associate & Care Coordinator

Hi, I am Christina! I serve as both the care coordinator and a clinician providing individual therapy services.

Why I love being a therapist

Changes and getting through life’s ebbs and flows can be a difficult journey that you do not have go through alone. The most rewarding part of being a therapist is working with individuals who are willing to be brave and work towards insight or to heal wounds of the past. It is so fulfilling to help others become the best version of themselves and gain the confidence they need to strive in their everyday lives. It is extremely powerful to help people grow and find their inner strength.

My Approach

I believe emotional healing truly begins when a person feels heard and accepted. My approach to working together is typically person-centered, which focuses on the individual and empowerment. I aim to provide a safe, genuine and empathic environment while utilizing our relationship to facilitate collaborative and meaningful change.

Education & Experience

I am currently a fourth year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at Loyola University Maryland. I have received my Masters in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland and my Bachelors in Psychology from Le Moyne College. I have experience working in outpatient mental health providing both therapy and assessment. I have worked with adults and emerging adults experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment, self-esteem and interpersonal relationship difficulties and other related challenges.

I am a registered psychology associate in Maryland under the supervision of Cathy Sullivan-Windt, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist. I offer reduced fee services and sliding fee scale.

More about me

I also serve as the care coordinator for New Connections Counseling Center. In my free time I enjoy doing crafts, yoga, being outdoors and spending time with my loved ones, including my dog Blair!
