We help stressed individuals and those who put themselves last.

Sometimes you may feel lost. Lost in a role or expectation. Maybe overwhelmed with parenting… fixated on career advancement… trying to be perfect… caring for an ailing loved one… or maybe you’re busy just surviving. And you may feel unsure how to be you, the real you, given the pressures of societal or family expectations.

Feeling lost and disconnected from ourselves can be a very lonely experience and can cause overwhelming fear, anxiety and depression. At New Connections, we specialize in providing safe spaces where folks can step outside of their everyday experiences and get back in touch with forgotten or unknown parts of themselves.

Maybe you struggle with self-worth and are afraid to tell anyone because you worry your façade will be shattered. You quietly suffer from anxiety and since you look strong on the outside, nobody suspects the turmoil going on inside you. Maybe you feel like you don’t have true relationships because you’re so afraid to be real. To open up to others.

ALTHOUGH THE WORLD IS FULL OF SUFFERING, IT IS ALSO FULL OF THE OVERCOMING OF IT.

We are here to help you understand yourself. We are here to help you understand why you may feel some of the things you feel, why you may do some of the things you do, and what may be getting in the way of some of the things you want. When you are more connected to yourself, you often experience relief from psychological problems such as depression and anxiety.

Our therapists are expert guides in this process of self-discovery; however, (although you may not feel it), we view YOU as the expert on you. We believe the answers are inside you. And we are here to help you connect with yourself. To help you live a life filled with joy, love, and purpose.

Often life transitions prompt this personal journey of self-exploration. Perhaps you are in the process of coming out, recently had your first child, got a new job, or got divorced and are looking for a partner. Sometimes it is a spike in pain that motivates us to do this work, other times it is the freedom a life transition provides that allows one to consider these deeper questions. Whatever the reason it is that you are now considering reaching out for help, we are here.

Our mission is to empower each client to overcome anxiety, life changes, relationship concerns, and other challenges.
