Therapist – Offering in-person & virtual therapy

Do you repeatedly find yourself in relationships that don’t work out? Have you been feeling burnt out or overwhelmed by your work? Do you struggle with boundaries when it comes to your family? Together we can explore how your relationships, family, culture, and the society around you have impacted the person you are today. I can help you identify the patterns that are no longer working for you and create new habits to achieve a more meaningful and fulfilled life.

Have you struggled to make yourself a priority? Have you wanted more, but accepted less? Do you worry that you didn’t make the right choices, and now it’s “too late?” Sometimes we know what no longer serves us, but we feel too afraid to let go, and it feels painful just to say it out loud. Now, (really) take a moment and imagine what life could look and feel like if you loved yourself enough to embrace the fear that comes with change. In this imaginary moment- if you felt more alive, even for a second, you have what it takes to turn a moment into a way of life, and I can help you get there.

Are you struggling to cope with the pain or symptoms associated with a trauma? Maybe you have been abused, suffered a significant loss, or witnessed violence at home or in your community. l listen to help you feel heard. You are strong and are living with the pain. I can help you learn to cope with what life has handed you. I will help you approach challenges with an open mind and use your natural strengths to overcome difficult experiences. I offer specialized care in the area of trauma and use EMDR to relieve symptoms associated with PTSD.

Do you find yourself playing out the same scenarios and challenges in your relationships with friends, family, and partners? Do you feel like you’re experiencing conflicts and are struggling to make a change? Therapy can help! My work is based on Feminist and Queer theories – which are oriented on helping to make the world a safer place for difference. Are you experiencing challenges in exploring your gender identity? Maybe you are isolated and feeling lonely in your exploration or transition. Or you may be experiencing anxiety about coming out to family and friends. Wherever you are in this process, I will meet you there and help you to achieve gender empowerment. In addition to working with transgender and gender non-conforming issues, I am passionate about working with survivors of relationship violence and sexual trauma as well as eating disorders and body image issues.

Are you having difficulty with the relationships in your life? Are you struggling to make progress with your goals? Is it hard for you to find meaning in your daily living? I firmly believe that before any psychological theory or technique can be helpful, a therapeutic relationship must be established. I see the relationship between a client and therapist as a collaborative partnership. I work hard to create an engaging and supportive environment where you can let down your guard and speak freely so that we can then get to work on creating the change you are looking for.
